March 29 - April 12, 2018
Arts Court - Ottawa Arts Council Boardroom, 2 Daly Ave.
Presented by: Sogge & Associates Practice In Psychology
The winter 2018 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Group for Adult ADHD will be led by Registered Psychotherapist Kathryn Palmer M.Ed, RP, C.C.C.

Some of the most common struggles for adults with ADHD relate to time management, organization, and planning.

By the end of this 12-week program, you will learn skills for:
• Creating schedules
• Using a planner
• Breaking down and prioritizing tasks
• Overcoming emotional obstacles to your goals
• Sustaining motivation
• Creating and maintaining an organizational system
• Completing projects in their entirety

This evidence-based program developed by Dr. Mary Solanto uses cognitive-behavioural interventions to target these areas of executive functioning.

This group is appropriate for individuals either on or off stimulant medication, and may be a beneficial treatment for those who have not been responsive to stimulant medication for ADHD in the past.

A formal diagnosis of ADHD is required by a regulated health professional qualified to communicate a psychological diagnosis.
