Carleton University, 1125 Colonel By Dr.

Carleton University’s Centre for Indigenous Research, Culture, Language, and Education (CIRCLE) and the Indigenous and Canadian Studies Graduate Community (ICGC) are pleased to announce their fifth annual student research conference that will take place on March 10th, 2018 at Carleton University. The theme of this year’s event is Decolonial Love: Nurturing Roots of Resurgence and Refusal with a special keynote address from Geraldine King. This will be a forum for both Indigenous and nonIndigenous researchers, students, activists, and artists to come together to reimagine expressions of love which are grounded in decolonial praxis and Indigenous ways of being. We encourage participation by artists, activists, organizers, community-members, and all experts (academic and non-academic).

CALL FOR PAPERS DUE: February 17th, 2018
