Keep Abortion Safe and Legal: March to End The "March For Life"

First and foremost, we would like to acknowledge that this event and all work being done surrounding it takes place on unceded, unsurrendered Algonquin territory that was never given up and never surrendered. We also acknowledge that colonialism is not just a historical process but is pervasive and ongoing.
Every year, the Campaign Life Coalition hosts the "March for Life", an anti-choice rally that actively opposes the reproductive rights of half of the Canadian population. The Ottawa Catholic School Board spends thousands of publicly-funded dollars to take high school children out of their classes to attend the march.
Help us end this injustice and keep abortion SAFE AND LEGAL. We will be marching adjacent to the anti-choice march and will be voicing our dissent. Join us to fight for what's right.
ACCESSIBILITY:
Please help us support accessibility and inclusion. Active listeners (counsellors) will be available for anyone who may need them. They'll be spread throughout the crowd and visibly identified (we’ll let you know how closer to the day of). Just flag them down and ask to talk. We will have marshals that will be visible throughout the duration of the event if you need help as well. We ask that if you take a photo of someone you ask first. Please be aware that photos may be taken by media that might be published. To help make this event a safe[r] space, please use your best judgment about the space you physically take up. Don't touch other's without their permission.
