Come celebrate National Aboriginal Day with 3 days of FREE family fun. Experience and celebrate the diverse Aboriginal cultures of the National Capital Region. The International Competition Pow Wow attracts hundreds of singers and dancer from across North America for a vibrant and lively display of our living culture including the new Hoop Dance competition. Visit the Family Fun Zone with Sports themed activities for the kids including Jumpaï – Bungee Trampoline and inflatables galore, Bubble Soccer, Hoop Head- a strolling stilt walking basketball comedian, “Endangered Ontario” Show with Little Ray's Reptile Zoo, a new “Colour Run” for all ages and abilities much, much more!

Catch non-stop cultural programming and family friendly main stage performances with artists such as DJ Shub (formally of Tribe Called Red), Nelson Tagoona, Prairie Fire Jiggers & Inuit Throat singers, Kaha:wi Native Dance (family theatre), Aboriginal Canada We’ve Got talent, Metis hypnotist Scott Ward and an evening spectacle of music, dance and pyrotechnics featuring an Aztec Fire Dance group from Mexico! Participate in cultural workshops and interactive arts and crafts such as making corn husk dolls. Shop the Aboriginal marketplace featuring incredible art, food and fashions from across Canada.
