We are pleased to announce that once again, we will be donating all proceeds to Ancoura, a not-for-profit organization operating within Ottawa to provide affordable housing and support for individuals living with Mental Illness in our community.
With the event fast approaching, we are currently calling on artists to submit pieces for the show. Absolutely no artistic training is required, we are simply looking for pieces that speak to you, in some way or another, about our theme of the brain and mental health. Whether it is a painting that expresses your own struggles with mental illness, or a video on the importance of keeping your brain healthy, we invite you to share it with us and the community. Artists will be notified by March 17 if their piece will be displayed at the event, along with details on where to deliver your art.
All submissions, regardless of whether they are displayed physically, will be posted on our sister site, as well as being displayed in a slide show running throughout the evening. Artists can also choose to include their art in our silent auction, should it be selected for the event
