The Ottawa School of Art (OSA) Gallery is pleased to host its third bi-annual juried exhibition of miniature prints featuring print artists from all over the world from April 22 to May 23, 2010. A vernissage will take place on Thursday, April 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the OSA’s Main Campus Gallery, 35 George St.
Artists were asked to submit their small-format prints (maximum of 10 cm by 15 cm) for exhibition in the OSA’s gallery, with artists working in any print medium welcome. Only original artwork will be exhibited. One print will be purchased by the OSA in the following categories: Best Intaglio Print; Best Relief Print; Best Lithography Print; Jury’s Special Selection; and Best in Show Print. The purchased prints will become part of the OSA’s permanent collection, with the winners having their entry fees waived for the fourth bi-annual International Miniature Print Exhibition in 2012, in addition to having their print shown prominently in the gallery and in the online catalogue.
Every print will be on display and for sale until May 23, 2010.
