Stefan’s art work is inspired by the natural environment. His art depicts an array of delightful, whimsical animals and sometimes frightening creatures born from his tireless imagination. The images are enticing to both young and old. Welcome to the fantastical world of Stefan Thompson.
Stefan is a local environmentally conscious artist. He began by making a name for himself in the graffiti community. After studying environmental science in university, Stefan came to the realization that the materials he was using were detrimental to the environment. He then phased out the use of all toxic paint as well as any other materials he felt harmful. After years of research and experimentation he developed a way of creating his paintings in an eco-friendly manner. Scavenging for old wood, cardboard, fabric, and other found materials helped create and add life to his work.
