"When I first opened PGF on Elm Street, I became aware of an artist who was painting the neighborhood I had moved in to. I had several clients come in with paintings of Somerset Street, houses and people in the area and I was fascinated with what I saw. I then had the pleasure of meeting and doing business with her. Her name was Dalal Chuaqui. We became friends and planned on doing an exhibit of her work at PGF. We both thought it was a great idea to show her paintings of the neighborhood in the neighborhood. Unfortunately our idea never took shape. This past January Dalal passed away at the age of 81. With the help of her brother Claudio, we have put together a show of Dalal’s work. The work consists of landscapes, portraits and still lifes. I hope you find the time to come see her life’s passion. "
