Call for Artists: 2025 Object//Project Art Book Fair

As part of our 10-year anniversary in 2025, Possible Worlds is excited to launch Object//Project Art Book Fair, Ottawa’s first art book fair on March 28-29, 2025.

Object//Project combines an inclusive and boundary-pushing approach to publishing in a variety of forms. Our goal is to bring together contemporary artists, musicians, designers, writers, curators, educators, cultural workers, social practitioners, activists, students and the community-at-large to connect and share knowledge, ideas and experiences.

We believe in the power of publishing to amplify and connect underrepresented and emerging voices, as a democratic discipline that transcends physical spaces and time, and as a catalyst to reshape longstanding narratives and worldviews.

The fair will showcase publications and programming, including readings, discussions, music performances, and workshops.

We are seeking exhibitors to participate in the fair and artists to participate in music programming. Details are below. To apply, fill out the form below by 11:59 PM EST on February 19, 2025.

You can also email us if you have any questions or if you would like to propose a workshop, talk or activity for Object//Project’s programming.

APPLY FOR THE FAIR
The fair will showcase artist editions, zines, artist books, poetry, fiction, catalogs, periodicals, graphic novels, comics, records, cassettes, t-shirts and other types of artist publications and multiples.

Artists, small presses, record labels, galleries, publishers, arts organizations and community organizations who wish to sell or exhibit works are invited to apply.

Exhibitors have the option of participating on both March 28-29, or March 29 only.
