We are honoured to have DJ Medicineman from Toronto dropping the best GLOBAL HOUSE MUSIC for the whole 2 hours! And dancer Olena Sukach will be leading a 30 min. housedance class at 1:30pm and 2:30pm!
Come listen to some great music, if you want you can pick up some dance moves, or just do you and vibe out with our awesome community of househeads!!!
Artist's Bios:
Olena Sukach is an Ukrainian artist, dancer & choreographer who has spent the last 10 years working, performing and teaching in China. She has recently moved to Ottawa and is the Housedance instructor at the Flava Factory Dance Studio.
She has been dancing her whole life and never stops learning and growing as an artist. Alongside working full time as a performing artist, she honed her art and studied with various dancers such as Chris Martin, Keone & Mari, Kinjaz, Hiro, Shaun Evaristo, Jillian Meyers, Edson Guiu and others.
Richard Martin a.k.a DJ Medicineman has been a pioneer in the ethno-electronic scene for over 20 years, exploring the intersection of traditional sounds with progressive beats. He's an ambassador of cultural fusion on and off the dancefloor, honouring the journey of understanding that world music fosters in our souls. His legendary radio show, No Man's Land, on CIUT 89.5 FM is considered to be one of the best of its kind in its commitment to broadening connection and awareness across the airwaves.
