Every September, the Ottawa International Animation Festival presents the world’s most cutting-edge, quirky and important animation — and transforms Ottawa into the centre of the animation universe. This year the event is taking its screenings and talks online with extended dates from September 23 to October 4.
PASSES ARE NOW ON SALE FOR OIAF 2020 ONLINE
Take your pick from the delicious menu of passes to this year’s virtual Festival (Sept. 23 - Oct. 4). You’ll find the familiar AnimaPass and TAC AnimaPass. To round out the options, we have three 3-Day Passes to choose from, as well as the Saturday Day Pass if you can only handle 24 hours of non-stop OIAF action. Students can save with the Netflix Animation Student Pass, for post-secondary students, and the Toon Apprentice Pass, for Ottawa high school students. Individual tickets go on sale September 9.
Passes this year include, not just access to screenings and talks, but the whole virtual OIAF experience. Most of the usual OIAF events will be recreated virtually, like studio and school booths, networking events, parties, and even Festival favourite- the pumpkin carving contest. New this year is the Artist Gallery, an opportunity to have your work seen by studios and recruiters. Get excited for the OIAF experience you’ve come to love- now from the comfort of your own home!
