Fall Choral Workshop Presents: Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria in Excelsis' - A Family Christmas Concert

Participants of the 2018 Fall Choral Workshop, directed by Roland Graham, present Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria in Excelsis’ with chamber orchestra and soloists, along with a selection of seasonal favourites including Handel's famous 'Hallelujah Chorus’, Rutter’s ‘What Sweeter Music’, audience sing-along carols and more.

Maestro Graham and his chamber orchestra will also present J. S. Bach’s splendid Fifth Brandenburg Concerto, featuring violin, flute and harpsichord soloists.

Tickets are $25 for general admission, $35 for premium seating (first-five-rows), $5 for children under 16 (accompanied by an adult)*, $15 for students (max age 24), and $50 for families (2 adults and up to 4 children).

$5 from each ticket sold, along with the proceeds from the concert will go to CHEO Foundation which raises funds to help support the work of the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

The Fall Choral Workshop Choir is a non-auditioned group of amateur singers currently working on improving their musicianship through Maestro Graham’s popular choral singing workshop. They are working extremely hard to polish their program and sound absolutely terrific!

The featured soloists for the concert are sopranos Maghan McPhee and Isabelle Lacroix, flautist Dakota Martin, violinist Adam Nelson and harpsichordist Roland Graham. The professional orchestra of strings, winds, brass and organ, features many of Ottawa’s finest ensemble musicians.
