SAW Video Media Art Centre is thrilled to introduce its inaugural OUTPUT screening, an annual presentation in the Ottawa Art Gallery's brand new Alma Duncan Salon. We will feature a selection of works produced through the centre's granting programs.

SAW Video's long history of providing artists with technical assistance, financial support, workshops and mentorship has played an integral role in the vitality, scope and diversity of the media arts and independent filmmaking in Ottawa.

SAW Video's OUTPUT screening showcases the various artistic practices and approaches to filmmaking that our centre continues to nurture through our commitment to distributing resources, sharing knowledge and building community. This screening will feature four debut presentations by participants who recently completed our JumpstART mentorship program, a longstanding initiative at SAW Video that is specifically designed to assist emerging artists with the creation of their first videos. In addition to this, the screening will feature works produced through SAW Video's former Cultural Equity Fund.
