Two Clean Feed label artists: Matthias Schubert & John Hébert trio

The Portuguese Clean Feed label mostly produces the work of the European avant-garde. It started with mostly Portuguese musicians but in recent years has attracted some of the European greats. Tonight we will survey two CDs, one by German alto saxophonist Matthias Schubert in duo with guitarist Scott Fields demonstrating their art of musical conversation and New Orleans bassist John Hébert with French pianist Denoît Delbecq and Detroit drummer Gerald Cleaver.
