Exploding Star Orchestra, PK 14, The Recipe
I have finally got around to playing Exploding Star Orchestra on teh show. ESO plays some really neat orchestral jazz pieces with some far out themes. PK 14 is considered the most influential band in the Beijing rock scene and have recently been touring the US with some other Beijing bands; I thought I'd spread the love up here in Canada. The Recipe are Canada's top spoken word group, hailing from Ottawa and tearin git up every where they perform. They have a new disc, The Appetizer, off of which I have selected a few of my favourite tracks.
