Glass Beads, Apocalyptic Bookends

Tonight mostly features the Serbian group Igra Staklenih Perli ("the glass beads game"), who released two studio albums in 1979 and 1980 and have a wealth of archival material that came out in the 90s. They were influenced by Pink Floyd, Can, and Hawkwind. Also, music from Laza Ristovski (for no reason other than that he was also Serbian), and we begin and close with GY(!)BE(!), because we're hitting the time of year where it gets cold and dark...

If anyone ever finds this playlist, I only now have learned that The Glass Beads Game is a classic novel by Herman Hesse. This is what happens when you major in Computer Science instead of Arts.
