Alternating new and old... tonight it all comes from a record!
We start with the title track of the new Motorpsycho album. Lyrics inspired by the tragic political situation in the United States.

I played Side A of the classic Sensations' Fix album "Portable Madness" a couple of years ago on a program called Meditazione Elettroniche, along with music from Franco Battiato and Arturo Stalteri. You can still listen to it, but probably not for much longer: https://cod.ckcufm.com/programs/462/22371.html

This was a really great group, doing atmospheric guitar music as good as the best German stuff by Göttsching/Reichel/Schickert etc.

From B.C., Moths & Locusts are another new space/psych group from Canada, a movement that will hopefully keep growing. They played this past weekend (NOT next weekend, oops) at House of Targ with The Band Whose Name Is A Symbol. Hopefully they'll be back in town again for those of us who struggle with calendars.
