JAZZ WEATHER!

The Emie R Roussel Trio has experienced a dizzying ascent since 2010, and is now an unstoppable force in the Canadian jazz scene. The trio delivers creative and captivating jazz with passion and undeniable chemistry. The hard-won musical cohesion of the group’s three members puts a particular spotlight on groove and melody via a sound at times more acoustic, at others more electric. These precious shared moments, and each member's creativity, meet at the crossroads of their respective paths, the intersections of their musical odyssey. More importantly the Trio is back – inspired, and with a whole new level of complicity and mutual understanding – with their new project, Intersections.

They already played Jazzfest! :( But you can check them out online!

Marie-Clo - Faune Canadian
https://soundcloud.com/marie-clo-sarault

It was closeness to nature, never-ending nights spent around a campfire & 7 years abroad that inspired Marie-Clo to develop her art. Her alternative pop, with its electronic undercurrent and conscious lyrics, showcases her deep love of dance, as well as a mature reflection on the world around her. A true creative chameleon and seasoned traveller, Marie-Clo can begin to write a song in a log cabin in the country and then continue it in an urban setting across the globe. Her eclectic songs tackle themes like politics, mental health, and love, but also conjure up a colourful and enchanted imaginary world. In 2017, Marie-Clo won TFO’s pan-Canadian search for francophone artists Planète BRBR, and was given carte blanche to participate at the Granby International Song Festival 2018, as well as at the Petite-Vallée Song Festival 2018. Following these, Aero bought her song "Sablier" for a 52 week run national commercial in which she stars. She celebrated the release of her debut EP Faune November 23 2017, which has since been playing on numerous radio stations across Canada, on Sirius XM, and joined numerous editorial playlists on Spotify. Radio-Canada named her Ontario's number one artist to discover in 2018, as part of a 13 artist list Canada wide for each province & territory. Singer-songwriter and contemporary dancer, Marie-Clo is a born performer who undeniably ropes her audience into a feverish dance, all the while immersing us into her poetic lyrics.
