Died in 1983 from cerebral hemmorhage.

Also a happy birthday to Astral Folk Goddess Judy Dyble, original vocalist with Fairport, also recorded with Giles,Giles and Fripp, and Trader Horne. Born in Central London in 1949, began performing and recording as Judy and the Folkmen. Left music business in 1973 to marry, raise family, work as librarian. After death of husband late 90s, began to write and record again in early 2000s, including 2008s 'Talking with Strangers' w/Pat Mastellato and Robert Fripp, among others.

Now we turn to birthdays of Three Petes: Peter Gabriel (1950, Chobham, Surrey), Peter Hook (1956, Broughton), and Peter Tork (1942, Washington DC). Gabriel was a founder, vocalist, and costume-impresario with Genesis 1967-75, leaving the band after recording but before tour for "Lamb". Went on to successful solo career as well as devoting time and resources to human rights activism.

I was trapped in my car after horrific accident. I could not change the radio station as I was really pinned in there. Despite the incredible pain I found myself really grooving to the music. I was freed several hours later. Now I'm a fan. Thanks guys!
