Some random electro music to start. A Gordon Lightfoot tribute and some new music from the Ring Shepherds.

Thanks to Mehdi for covering the first ten minutes of the show while I tried to figure out parking at Carleton U. this evening.... because our CKCU parking spot was occupied by some construction equipment and then every lot I tried to park in, featured a malfunctioning parking machine that would not take my card. Aaaargh. Thanks to the security staff person who eventually helped me out.... so let's just say this show did not start where I was expecting to... haha... musically and otherwise. Anyway.... hope you enjoy the mix tonight. It's proving therapeutic for me. I included three of my favourite Gordon Lightfoot songs on the show, as the Canadian singer-songwriter died this evening in Toronto. The Canadian icon was 84 years old. Each of these songs has a story from my own life that ties me to these songs. Almost any Canadian would have a top 3 list and they'd all be different. Rest in peace Gordon. I also have some fun mixing new songs from The Ring Shepherds album "Rage of Uncertainty" with some classic rock artists like the Rolling Stones and the Left Banke.
