A collection of songs and beautiful ambient pieces that will hopefully encourage you to make a donation to our annual public funding drive. Tonight's first hour focus is on local music and songs about the radio. Here at CKCU, we truly support our local, independent music scene by playing the music of local artists and giving them opportunities to appear on our shows to talk about their creations and hopefully turn you on to their amazing work. And I just love songs about the radio, as I grew up listening to radio through many evenings and I am so fortunate that I was given the opportunity to create radio programming here at CKCU-FM almost 40 years ago. In the second hour we eventually get to listening to some beautiful ambient and post-classical music - a 2nd hour regular feature here on the Wavelength.... and hopefully the beautiful sounds move you enough to make a donation to our annual public funding drive.
