We open the show tonight checking in with Ottawa's Lynn Miles about her upcoming winter-themed concerts at Irene's this week. We talk to Lynn about how she's been doing and how her 2021 virtual and in-person concerts worked out. Her shows at Irene's this week take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 19 and 20) and there are limited tickets as Irene's is practicing social distancing at any concerts taking place there. The American composer died on Tuesday, December 8 due to complications after contracting the Coronavirus. Harold Budd created some of the most beautiful music over the past 40 years - on solo recordings and working with people like Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) and Andy Partridge (XTC.) We explore some of Budd's amazing musical output tonight and hope you enjoy this gorgeous music.
