Howdy y'all! Today I'm going to invite you into my home to hear a smidgen of the house concert we had here featuring (for the first time ever) Ray Legere with Pete Deachman. What a show... it was a great time and I wanted to share a bit of it with you. We'll do more of it later if I hear from you that you enjoyed it. I"m going to start the show with Sammie Smith with a great old classic - He Stopped Loving Her Today, and then a track from Bobby Dove who will be at the NAC 4th Stage with her full band on Saturday April 13, as well as a track from Shawn Tavenier, who is joining me and Tyler Kealey and Megan Jerome on stage at the NAC 4th Stage on Tuesday April 9th. Then we'll get onto the house concert... I'd also like to ask you to "save the date" of Saturday May 4th for a Fundraiser "Festival Teaser" in a way... We’re putting on a fundraiser for a young single dad who has often volunteered his time at the South Grenville Bluegrass Festival and now finds himself the victim of a fire which has destroyed everything. Community is great, and people are stepping up to help Patrick, but the larger bluegrass community is wanting to show him our support and we hope you’ll be there with us. The fundraiser will be on May 4, and will be a bit of a teaser for the upcoming local festivals, which start in June and go right through to August with the South Grenville Festival.
