That's the end of hour 1. Just want to remind you that today, May 1 2021, Gil’s Hootenanny is releasing a new video . It's a retrospective of highlights of past Hootenannies along with some exciting new songs, the video will be available for viewing from 4pm onward at https://gilshootenanny.ca/ .

Also, heads up that there will be a virtual fundraising concert to help out the iconic Mayfair Theatre - the idea being to raise a couple of months rent for them. The concert, being organized by Greg Kelly, Chris White, Karen Oxorn, me, and a few others will feature about 10 performers on each of Saturday May 15 (evening) and Sunday May 16 (afternoon). Stay tuned for more information! I'm sure Chris White will talk about it on Canadian Spaces too...
Hour 2 is a feature presentation - I've been chatting with musicians to get an indepth picture of what they have been doing and how they are faring over the past year. This hour... in conversation with Rick Fines and of course listening to some of his beautiful soulful music.

The most difficult part of doing these in depth conversations with music is that I always have to leave some great dialogue "on the cutting floor". I had a wonderful conversation with Tyler Kealey which I'm sharing with you now, for hour 3. Tyler is a powerhouse pianist, singer/songwriter. Here's our conversation and some great musical tracks from the Kemptville Live festival which just took place, virtually, in the past month.
