Cher Monsieur 'Glimmer of Spring', aka: Al Fresco ~ What better way to start a brand new 'turn your radio on' day, than with the 'Belfast Cowboy' wailing 'Brand New Life' and then lightin' out for the 'Memphis in the Meantime' territories with John Hiatt and the Goners? Now... as soon we can chip our hint of a rumour, of a promise of printemps, out of its hermetically-sealed iced-over packaging, we'll be laughing here in the west Q hills. As la Co-presidente here at el Rancho Untaaméd observed - "Al always plays good music, but this show is better than good!" (I believe that translates into something like - "He's playing a lot of songs that I really like.") 'Thanks, thanks a lot...' for the ace wavelengths, Pal Al (The 'Third Glimmer Twin', shurely!) Mahalo ~ l Coyote PS: Was Willie (Nelson) curled up asleep in the back of Johnny and June's tour bus 'JC Unit One), when you and Madre tipped into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland?
