'Gakondo' is the new album from Ottawa's and Rwanda's, Mighty Popo (www.mightypopo.ca/EN/index.html). Gakondo means origins or tradition, and on this album, Popo has taken a journey to his Rwandan roots. The album is, in a word, excellent. The Mighty Popo joins me in the studio at the top of the third hour, at 9 AM, to talk about the new record and his release party which will take place on October 30th at the Bronson Centre. Of course, it will not just be talk; we will spin a few tracks too!
