Window of Opportunity
Friday July 10th, 2015 with Chris White
Jaime Koebel; Don Monet (Cube Gallery)

Jaime Koebel talks about a very troubling situation involving the attempted appropriation of sacred lands at Chaudière Falls by Dream Inc./Windmill developers. Jaime is an "Indigenous Arts Activator" originally from Alberta and now living in Ottawa. There is information about her Indigenous walking tours, craft workshops, artwork and dance performances at www.jaimekoebel.com and www.indigenouswalks.com. Visual artist Don Monet is the owner of Cube Gallery located in Hintonburg (www.cubegallery.ca). Cube has forged an outstanding reputation over the past 10 years, and there are some exciting shows coming up there. We also with Jim Mountain talk about Almonte CeltFest taking place this weekend (see www.almonteceltfest.com).
