Hi Janis, Beautiful beautiful show this afternoon. Yes, that anniversary is coming up. A fitting tribute to a Canadian folk icon.

Thanks for tuning in, Shelley Ann, and sharing the music that Chopper brought to us all.

Yes, I might not have heard a lot of the folk music I've grown to love if hadn't been for Chopper's and other great shows on CKCU.

I think Chopper had a huge influence on CKCU. And it was great to see him on stage introducing performers who came to town, articulate, informed, funny, and wearing one of the many crazy hats he loved.

Always enjoy your show Janis, when I tune in, and miss seeing Chopper emcee at the folk festival.

Thanks so much Janis for the heart-felt, and so deserving, tribute today for Chopper. Yeah, and to Mike P, Chopper WAS the original FolkFest (along with Chris White of course). I miss the FolkFest very much, as it once was...

Great cover for Dave today Peter B. Reeaallly enjoyed the music! Cycling out to Brittania for music even, was a highlight of many an august for me. Chilly cycling back to Hull at that time some nights but easier than winter but for being blinded by car lights on the parkway.
