Interview with Dr. Yipeng Ge - Worked in Gaza

Dr. Yipeng Ge will be joining me for an interview this morning. This former Resident at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Medicine, went on to work as a doctor in Rafah, Gaza. He also embarked on the Sumud Freedom Flotilla that set sail to get break the Gaza Siege. This morning we will be covering a lot of ground - Dr Hassam Abu Safiya, a Gaza doctor who was abducted by Israel from the hospital in Gaza where he was working, continues to be held in an Israeli jail, someone was finally able to meet with him and he appeared to be in very poor health, we are calling for his immediate release. At the Canadian Museum of Human Rights this past Friday, the exhibit 'Palestine Uprooted - The Nakba Past and Present' opened. Yipeng Ge was there for the opening! We also want to discuss the incident at the Ontario Medical Association's Annual meeting, apparently watermelon's make some feel uncomfortable..
