The parting of WTMW makes a more significant gap in the Program Grid than than most others and will be sorely missed. The positive nature of what you've presented has enlightened many along the way. Thank you Shelley Ann, Kim and everyone who has contributed to this staple on the CKCU schedule. Thank you so much for your service to the community and I hope that you will continue to participate in some way and are certainly welcome to resume if ever you want to strike it back up again! 💗

Hi Colleen, (who also served as our ‘research team’ suggesting guests, music etc. We know that Mum is listening to the radio right now, coffee in hand. I’m pretty sure that Dad is listening from up above. Hooray for family support. Much love and appreciation

Sad to see you go … how about an au revoir rather than a goodbye.

Beyond The Pond
Echoing Bob's and Peter B's sentiments: au revoir for now. The combination of pandemic, studio closure and likely ongoing complications with transportation to the studio when the studio re-opens have become too much at once, but they won't last forever. Your commitment, however, to highlighting the lives and experiences of people with disabilities, their skills and their adaptability is permanent. As is your love for presenting such an important show. At some point in the future it may well become easier for you to host the show again re-opening your opportunity to resume your unique and much valued programme. Looking forward to that day :-)

Hi Candace, Bob and “Beyond the Pond” Thank you sooo much for your kind words. Everyone who has commented here I consider a good friend, a friend I made through volunteering here. Yes, it is an Au Revoir and not a permanent Goodbye—we just need to figure out a way to keep the ‘voice of those with disabilities’ alive and well. Meanwhile, I encourage EVERYone to please support CKCU—the people you hear producing excellent content are volunteers, sharing their passion for music and the spoken word. I sure will be putting a lotta money on a lotta shows!!!! Bye for now,

I can't believe it has been 8.5 years. It has been an absolute privilege to tune in all these years. Thank you for having us on the show as well, it has always been an honour to pop in. Long live WTMW!
