Music From The Glen
Sunday February 8th, 2026 with Robyn Lichaa
A changing of the seasons?

On this bitterly cold Sunday, we will start off with Welsh, English, and Norwegian music to help us dream of the spring weather to come. Irish tunes to follow, closing out with Erik Johnson-Scherger and Kyle Jordan's new release. We'll then hear the magical tones of an obscure Celtic instrument: the hammered dulcimer. Today is also the anniversary of Mary, Queen of Scots' execution in 1587. We'll let Dougie MacLean tell her story, ending with a series of funky R&B/trad fusion tracks.
