Roy Harris died on February 9, 2016 at the age of 82. He was a mainstay of the English folk club scene having founded the Nottingham Traditional Music Club in 1967. He was a noted singer of military songs and sea shanties. Over my next couple of shows (this and two in March), I will feature some of his music, most of which is only available on vinyl. |
