Celebrating the music of the Nashville Bluegrass Band
Featuring the music of the “Nashville Bluegrass Band” - one of the most decorated, influential, and respected ensembles in modern bluegrass history. Formed in 1984 in Nashville, Tennessee, the group carved out a unique identity. While their connections to the music of Bill Monroe were clear, what was different was that they blended traditional, hard-driving bluegrass with blues, acoustic swing, and—most notably—African-American gospel music.
