Celebrating the life of Mark Hiscock, Pt. II the Conclusion – Replay of an earlier interview with Mark when he released what would be his final solo album. Concludes with an interview with Newfoundland and Labrador’s iconic singer-songwriter Bud Davidge (“Music and Friends”/”Any Mummers In Here” etc.) and his tribute to Mark. Hiscock was a cherished figure in Newfoundland and Labrador’s music scene. Renowned for his mastery of the button accordion and his deep commitment to preserving traditional Newfoundland music, Mark was an outstanding artist - known as a fine singer, brilliant multi-instrumentalist and producer. He passed away about a year ago, on May 7, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving behind a legacy celebrated by fans and fellow musicians alike throughout his home province and beyond.

Great idea to replay your interview with Mark as part of your tribute . Such a wonderful person to listen to - all the songs you showcased highlighted his interests - that Bringing Mary Home was so haunting. I'm sure he is sadly missed.
