Time to channel some warm southern vibes to try and give this weather something to latch onto. Although the sounds of Rio De Janeiro were laid to wax under sultry conditions it to their credit that they can be played anywhere anytime and deliver the healing properties their creators invested them with. On today's episode of Friday drive we shall dip our toes into the bottomless ocean that is Brazilian music. Once wet we shall shake ourselves off with some guitar driven funky soul jazz and chill out to some tracks that just speak to me at this time of year such as Shuggie Otis's Inspiration Information and material by one of Cananda's unsung jazz heroes, Montreal's late great Nick Ayoub.
