Erik Stolpmann

HOST OF: CURIOCITY

YEAR STARTED: 2013

Erik Stolpmann is a photographer and producer at CKCU 93.1 FM, where he hosts CURIOCITY, a weekly hour of local music, conversations, and unexpected discoveries. He also helps out behind the scenes with photography, social media, merchandise, and whatever else needs doing around the station.

By day, Erik works with Ottawa Chamberfest, and outside of work he can usually be found somewhere with a camera, on a bike, casually behind a drum kit, or singing Talking Heads at karaoke. (He’s also a proud cat parent to Ori!) Erik is passionate about discovering music, supporting Ottawa’s arts and creative communities, and finding new ways to tell the stories of the people who define them.
