Daniel "Dj Ducats" Plummer has been DJ'ing for nearly four decades. He began at an early age and had his first high school radio show at the age of 13. A few years later he landed himself on college radio and hasn't much looked back since.

He obtained his first pair of turntables around the same time and continues using them to this day. Beat juggling, scratching and mixing became a lifelong passion that he continues to practice today, along with his equal love for hip-hop.

Ducats has written articles for HipHopCanada.com, interviewed countless artists and DJ'd alongside some of the hip-hop greats. He continues to host "Peaceful Journey" on CKCU every Friday from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM e.s.t. playing brand new boom bap each week, and old school once a month with help from Toronto's DJ Shortcut.
