Kaitlyn Thorne

I’m incredibly honoured to be part of the CKCU 93.1FM team, contributing to a station that plays such an important role in our community. With a background in electrical work and experience as an audio technician, I bring a strong technical foundation and a passion for sound to everything I do.

I’m passionate about anything I take on, always eager to learn, grow, and share knowledge with others. I’m also a content creator, which allows me to bring creativity, adaptability, and a fresh perspective to the team. I love getting involved wherever I’m needed and am always happy to step into any role to support the station. Whether it’s behind the scenes or assisting wherever help is needed, I take pride in being a dependable and valuable addition to the team.

Community involvement is incredibly important to me, and I’m always looking for ways to connect with others and contribute to something meaningful. Being part of CKCU allows me to combine that passion with creativity, collaboration, and storytelling.

Fun fact: I’m also licensed to handle fireworks—so whether it’s behind a mixing board or lighting up the sky, I’m always excited to help create memorable experiences.
