As part of the Ottawa 200 celebrations and Mixed Metaphors’ DOME-OCRACY series, join us at Canadensis Garden on Saturday, September 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to make music with stones.
Rocks that ring, resonate, click and clack — making sounds you might not expect.
Come explore the sounds of lithophones and discover just how musical a rock can be.
No musical experience required. Just come ready to rock.

DOME-OCRACY is a series of interactive music experiences presented by Canadensis Garden and Mixed Metaphors as part of Ottawa 200. Throughout the summer, visitors are invited to explore sound, creativity, and participation through a series of unique installations inside the dome at Canadensis Garden.
