Renowned neuroscientist Jane Stewart will present her personal paintings at the Carleton University Art Gallery on Friday, March 26 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
This informal showing is sponsored by the Ottawa chapter of the Society for Neuroscience, which is comprised of graduate students from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa, as well as students working in partnership with hospitals and research facilities within the national capital region.
As part of Brain Awareness Week from March 8 to 12, the students are touring elementary and high schools in the Ottawa area, offering demonstrations and interactive activities to spark interest in the brain and neurological science.
