Ivo Perelman (tenor sax) and Matthew Shipp (piano) have been collaborating for more than twenty years. They have brought the art of improvisation to an extraordinary high level. Tonight we will listen to two of their collaborations: one in a 2012 trio setting and the other in a 2013 duet.
