| Bob and Earl as a recording group were, in total, three people. Earl was the constant: Earl Nelson and there were two Bobs: The original Bob - Bobby Byrd, who left in 1960 and the second Bob, Bobby Relf joined with Earl, in 1962, to continue the Bob and Earl story, eventually recording, in 1963, the 'Harlem Shuffle' (which was arranged by Barry White). But, Earl, was also Jackie Lee and recorded 'The Duck' a single that gave Mirwood its first big hit. |
