Today marks the 47th anniversary of the ill fated Apollo 13. Intended to be the third mission to land humans on the lunar surface, an explosion on the spacecraft occurred two days in causing the mission to be aborted. Today we will be playing tunes that harken back to the experiences of the three astronauts, who for six days floated through space in a metal canister, unsure if they would ever again step foot on their home planet.
