| A cover of the Jimi's Are You Experienced? put together by Genesis P. Orridge with vocals by his then pre-teen daughter Caresse. It is crazy how this combines an extremely heavy drugged out sound and a song about being drugged out with an eight year old girl delivering the message. So good and creepy. Dubbed out part 2 rounds off side A of this 12" in a good way as well. |

| Seriously mindblowing soundtrack compilation (re?)released in 1995 by the excellent Crippled Dick label. Take just about equal parts fuzz, jazz, go-go, psychedelia, erotica, ethereal vocals, 60s Italian grooves, samba, horror, drugs and funk, put them all together musically for something that is greater than all those influences individually and multiply by a factor greater than 10. Am I exaggerating? I'm listening to the record right now and I think I may not have given it all the credit it deserves! |
