Mobility & Politics is a transnational research collective based out of Carleton University, Ottawa. We pride ourselves in transcending traditional disciplinary boundaries by bringing together emerging scholars and practitioners from around the globe, stretching our membership across various disciples and levels of education. By fusing together this unique and exciting blend, our research focuses on a diverse range of topics pertaining to the politics and social dimensions of mobility and migration. As mobility and migration are hallmarks of today’s global realities, we believe that joint and collaborative research is crucial. We aim to actively seek out new opportunities for collaboration and work to connect our members with other scholars and practitioners within their own fields of interest. Our collective also organizes various events such as speaker series, international workshops, conferences, and community events. We are looking forward to expanding this research initiative and fostering stronger transnational connections and collaborations!
