Welcome To My World
Tuesday January 26th, 2016 with Kim Kilpatrick and Shelley Ann Morris
Beating the blues!

This week, Kim and Shelley welcome their friend, Rev. David Greene who will talk about depression and how his church is providing support for those who are dealing with it. We'll have some happy songs that may help you to beat the blues. We will also have a chat with Tim Scapillato or The Tandem Project, who will tell us about the up-coming 2s Company Race on sunday Feb 7. We had a surprise visit from Dean Mellway of the READ Initiative. They are involved in interesting projects. Engineering students are addressing issues of mobility and housing for those with disabilities. On March 7 there will be an event; AccessAbility--making homes accessible to all. The READ Innovation Centre connects people with ideas and those who work to bring them to life.

Hi folks, Do you have a song that lifts your spirits? What I your 'go to' tune when you have the blues? We'd love to hear about what you do to beat the blues, especially at his time of year.

I wish that the microphone was on during the "Today's Monday" song! That would have really lifted everyone's spirits! I hope Tim will be on next week to talk about the 2's Company Duathlon!
