During my Carleton days, I used to study with the radio on. The music playing in the background would help me relax and improved concentration while working on assignments. Also, when I was very young, I would sneak my little portable radio into bed with me and although I had to go to bed, I wuld stay up to listen for awhile.

I certainly enjoyed listening to John Southern and I'm so glad that you were able to interview him a few weeks ago. He had such a wonderful voice. I know how much he enjoyed Welcome To My World. He will be missed.
