Tonight's show features bands and musicians based in the state of Pennsylvania in the 60's and 70's.Soul and pop will be featured along with highlighting the career of Todd Rundgren.
We open with soul music out of Pennsylvania.MFSB pretty much was the backing band for most disco and soul that came out of PHiladelphia.The Gamble and Huff production team were responsible for much of the music recorded at Sigma Sound Studios in the 60's and 70's.

Philadelphia born Todd Rundgren led The Nazz through 3 unsuccessful lp's before going solo-resulting in the classic Something/Anything? lp in 1972.Along with his solo career Rundgren produced bands including Grand Funk(We're An American Band released in 1973)and Meatloaf(Bat Out of Hell) among many others.Analogous to his solo and production work Rundgren also led Utopia from 1975 to 1985
