Friday Special Blend
Friday April 12th, 2024 with Susan Johnston and Meghan Burns
Ottawa Grassroots Musicians. MABRO. Chat with Ottawa Visual Artist Kai Holub.

Join Susan and Meghan for chats and listening to artists part of the upcoming Ottawa Grassroots Festival (April 25-28) plus local release by MABRO on their new album "Whatever you do ... don't"! In the second hour, we're in conversation with local visual artist Kai Holub (@kai.holub on Instagram). Kai Holub is an emerging queer, trans, and disabled artist creating by means of acrylic paintings, digital drawings, and miscellaneous writings. His most recent works explore topics such as gender, intimacy, sexuality, and belonging. In their rare free time, Kai enjoys playing fantasy RPGs, listening to video essays, and making little drinks.
