I'm the 1st to talk about my memories of a little disco I went to in old Hull called "SPOTLIGHT". It was a bit of heaven for me and my fellow transgender friends. It was only around for a couple of years located in a cafeteria of a government building. Anybody else remember the place???

I was too young to go clubbin in the 70's but this show looks good. I have to go to TO and I'll check it out on demand later.

Grew up in Montreal and the discothques like 5440 were so much better than Ottawa-Hull clubs.

It is remarkable to see so much of a response before the show! Thank you all! Hoping you enjoy the actual beats.

Great oldies. I was born in 80. Got no memories of old clubs.

I took a few moments to think of a "personal intrigue" moment. I sat grooving to the music when I remembered staying at the cabaret right to the closing time at 3am. The deejay ended the night with Lou Reed's "walk on the wild side" which quickly became one of the favs. If you could play it I would be very pleased.

Great show! Who did the Lou Reed remix?

3:05 PM, May 23rd, 2015
Elorious Cain (host)
Thank you for your comment Stefan. The remix you wanted to know about was the Walk On the Wild Side (Livingstone & Canosis Remix) by The Jimmy Castor Bunch.

I can remember listening to Hijack while working in 1975 as a night cleaner in the O.R. of a small Montreal Hospital that's now part of the Y. Good song then and now, as is The Groove.
